Do I have to start with Phase 1?+
No. Many clients jump directly into Phase 2 (CAIO retainer) or Phase 3 (implementation sprint) if they already have a clear sense of what they need. Phase 1 is for leaders who want a fully mapped roadmap before they invest.
How do you price engagements?+
Pricing depends on the scope, your team size, and the technical complexity. We give a fixed quote after a free 30-minute call — no surprise invoices, no hourly billing games. We're happy to talk through ranges on the call.
What if we already have an AI consultant or tool vendor?+
Good. We work alongside existing partners regularly. As your fractional CAIO we'll often act as the buyer-side check on vendor recommendations — making sure what they're selling is actually what you need.
Do you take referral fees from AI tools you recommend?+
Never. We're vendor-neutral by policy. The tools we recommend are the ones that fit your situation best — and we say so in writing in every engagement.

Primarily SMBs in services, SaaS, professional services, and operations-heavy industries. If you have repetitive knowledge work and an interest in doing it better, you're a fit.
